  First impression was not a good one. Went in looking for a new PCM. Turns out that Dr. Michael, still listed on their website and links, hasn't been there in over two years. They're also not taking any new patients, which is not noted anywhere.

  Excellent care from Marty, excellent front desk staff! I miss Dr. Michael but thankfully, they brought Marty back!, if not, they wouldn't have any patients. Everyone was leaving and going elsewhere. I've been a patient for years, Dr. Michael took care of me when I was very sick, having sought treatment at urgent care over a weekend, several days later I was still very sick with a high fever. My mother called the office, I was seen immediately, Dr. Michael prescribed the correct medication and I was feeling better the next day. I had been sick nearly 2 weeks with pneumonia and bronchitis taking the medications given at Urgent Care. I wasn't getting any better, lost 16 lbs. during the time. I, like so many others were upset when Dr. Michael has no choice but to leave because of CCH. We've all heard that's why we lost an excellent doctor in Sanford and we have very few anyways. Dr. Michael or Marty have never left the room with a door knob question hanging out there. If Marty had not come back I would have sought medical care elsewhere and if she ever leaves I will travel to Pinehurst for medical care. The front desk staff is excellent, Cindy and Miranda always provide me with the paperwork I need. If I'm sick, they will do all they can to make a slot for me that day, like they do for all their patients. I can't say enough nice things about this practice except they should have kept Dr. Michael and Marty, both!. The Dr. they brought in for a very short time after Marty left, I saw her once, that was enough, she was rude. Many were glad to see her go! I don't know the new doctor, I plan to continue my care with Marty. She genuinely cares about her patients, as Dr. Michael did. It's very obvious to patients if the providers care or not, Marty and Dr. Michael both care about their patients. I have bad knees and she has compassion for the pain and suffering I go through on a daily basis trying to work on these knees. I wish him well and I hope Marty stays a long time. I hope CCH treats her and the staff well, so they don't have to leave like Dr. Michael did. All the patients knew it was CCH, why he left. My mother, my son, all my mother's friends treat there. We are lucky to have them. First review I've ever written on any topic, it was worth the time to do it.
